I recently finished reading Shaping Things by Bruce Sterling. In it he speaks of spimes-objects that are trackable in both space and time using tags or bar-codes.
Squidder’s new Twitter Feed augmented reality T-Shirt takes us one step closer to a spime filled future. There is a bar-code on the front of the shirt that contains your Twitter user name. When the bar-code is scanned by a phone, laptop or similar device your latest Tweet will virtually appear in front of the wearer. Check out their site for more visions of the future.
